Shop History

All the jewellery is designed and made in the workshop alongside the shop.

The shop front at Lacock
Graham Watling with his wife Jean, established the business in Lacock  in 1972.

They originally set up a workshop by the invitation of the National Trust and later moved into larger premises in Lacock, which they converted to provide larger workshops and showrooms, then known as Lacock Gallery.

The shop setting is within the National Trust Village of Lacock. On driving or walking around the village you will find the shop. On quieter days you can park outside or there is a large public car park that is clearly sign posted from the main road.

There are two very distinct different styles of jewellery;

- Jane’s work is modern contemporary and full of organic features. - John ’s work is based on classical themes with a good eye for proportion.

The style and ambience of the shop is clearly set out for customers to browse in a relaxed manner.

Customers are given a chance to look and think about their purchase without being immediately bombarded by "hard sales" staff! However once help is needed our policy is to give good service and show knowledge and understanding of the individual jewellery pieces.

When extra help is needed for designs or quotations, Jane or John Watling are usually available on site.

The shop’s stock is steadily changing and evolving as the jewellery is individually made.

We already send our jewellery around the world to customers either by registered post or international data post.
